I spoke with Lindi. The letter was actually delivered, and apparently I was the last of us to be put on the case hunting for a black book she lost - stolen. I figured to get anything out of anyone, I'd need to first butter them up a bit, so I decided to just hang out, start some conversations, try to make some friends. I could work it out once I knew who to trust. So I played some darts. I didn't do too badly, come out with a bit more gold than I put in. As we played, the players all a bit tipsy, darts were lost, and we eventually ran very short. Then something absurd happened... I was up next to throw, but before I took position, someone tossed the last dart at me, and in reflex I grabbed it and swung it straight back. I'm not sure why I did that. But, he then proceeded to bat it, sending it flying all around the inn before it vanished into the cellar behind the bar. With that, the game abruptly ended, so I went to sit at a table with some others, to continue my integration. Our discussion got sidetracked very quickly away from people who volunteer at Lindi's bar, into gossip about much of the town. This was very interesting in its own right, and could come in handy later. I'll write it down separate to this. It'll be hard to remember it all otherwise - since I haven't met most of these people yet. At some point, I noticed the shady shopkeeper from across the way leaving the bar, but didn't pay it any mind. I was a little disturbed that I hadn't even realised he was there to begin with, though. About 30 minutes after that, the rest of the party returned from... Wherever they'd snuck off to, bearing the black book. In celebration, Lindi brought out a large amount of alcohol and was giving it away. It looked very similar to what I'd seen on sale at one of the stalls outside. Shortly enough I found out why: Rinsahk appeared from the cellar and attempted to claim the cases as the ones he'd purchased earlier. I decided not to get involved in his plight...
