I found some work. Doddle, the barkeep, offered us a simple job. Delivering a letter. I'm worried that he wants 6 people to handle it, but maybe he just pities us. Or maybe this is the first test to turn us into a ruthless band of assassins. Gotta be that, given that this place is a secret organisation's hideout. Alright, first stage of infiltration complete. I need to keep my diary hidden from them, now, so they don't know that I know... I'll have to find somewhere safe to hide it. My pack should be enough for now. Anyway. We went to Oppatuniti, the breeze blowing against us the whole way. Surprisingly, as we crossed the bridge over the river leading in, it died down. I had thought it'd stay strong until the evening. I'll have to investigate that more. Facing us as we entered was a statue, pointing out the way we came. I wonder what it points to. Destiny, perhaps? In any case, since it was a long walk, especially for Lilly, even after I carried her part of the way, I decided I'd go browse the market a bit first. I wasn't even holding the letter so unless anything went wrong, I probably wouldn't be needed. Stein followed me into the market, which was going well until he spoke... Although that wasn't his voice. He seems to have a voice in a box, and it speaks in insults. He made a highly inappropriate comment about what I do of a night, and although he likely doesn't realise what he said, it was loud enough for the stall owners to hear, who certainly do! I couldn't leave that alone, so I pushed him over, to maintain dignity, and to get the message across that he should never say that again. He didn't, as that box followed it up with "yay!" as he hit the ground. I gave him a bit of a kick, and stalked off to anywhere but there. As I did, Lilly brought me a nice boquet of flowers. I spied an interesting looking shop across the street from the main market, and headed for it. It seemed to be an alchemy shop, but the owner was crazy, and he had a creepy barrel, so I took Lilly and fled. Stein was gone, so I went back to buy us both something to eat. Shortly after doing that, with the sun now half gone, something exploded further down the road, and no surprise, Stein and the others were at the heart of it. I decided to stay out of it, until I heard the sound of the guards coming, and saw the others start fleeing for the inn. I checked on one burning person, made sure they wouldn't die, before following them and meeting Lindi, the barkeep, the letter's recipient. I should check later that she actually received it. I need to find out what the others were involved in, too, and keep them out of trouble, this time...
